10" wheels
I have a 91 4x4 pickup. I am considering putting on 15x10" wheels. I want to know if 31's on 10" wide wheels will need a lift or will it work without one.

No. 31 will not fit on 15 x 10
Use 7 or 8. And won't required a lift. I run 33 12.50 on my 15 x 10 wheels |
I see 12.50s on 14 wides all the time I don't see why not a 10.50 can't do a 10
89' pickup 4 inch rough country suspension 31x10.50 dick cepek fc2s 15x8 ion alloy 174 series wheels+ glenns over the rail dogbox, mega 4 tracking unit,cb and private band radio, 2 6x9 speakers and over 15 deer a year put on the back! |
31s will fit on a 10" rim but I don't see the benefit. They have to be stretched onto the rim, so anytime you air down, you're sure to break a bead. Most people run a 12.5" wide tire on an 8" wide rim.
I have my 32x11.5" tires on a 10" wide rim, just because I bought the rims used and they were a good deal. Next time I get tires, I'll get the correct 8" rims. |
