What tire will fit on my truck?
Hey, I'm getting a 1992 toyota 4runner. I don't really want to lift it too much. Maybe 2-3 inch body lift if anything. But for a stock 4runner, what size of tire can i fit on it.
I would like to put 32's on. But would that fit stock? Has anyone done it? Could I see some pics of others 4runners or trucks with stock height and 31/32 inch tires Please? I just want to see some basic stuff that people have done and see what i want to do. Thanks |
i fit 31's on my stock 87 but i needed to hammer the seems flat and take out the plastic liners:saw: . i havent had any rub yet and i beat the hell out of it so im sure you should be fine, but id do the body lift just cause.

Welcome! If you look around on here, you'll see lots of pictures of different trucks with different tire sizes and amount of lift.
4WD 2nd gen 4Runners like yours came stock with 31's as an option. You can fit 33x10.50 with no lift and no rubbing. |
your tire size
a 3 to 4 body lift is a perfect lift you can tuck 33 ' S i know it.

I had 32's on a 93 no lift, very little rubbing at a full turn. Not a big fan of body lifts. Save for suspension down the line. Welcome!
