Starting problems HELP!!!

Engine Performance problem
1987 Toyota 4Runner 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
I'm having trouble with my 4 runner .It has a 22re engine,EFI fuel injected .My problem is it won't start on the first or second try .. it turns over fine so I ruled out the started .I ohmed the cold start injector and the injector time switch with a multimeter and they both checked out .The thing is, when it does start it runs good . I replaced the water temp.sensor and it still didn't crank on the first or second try .I also check the coil and spark plugs to make sure it was firing and they were so I ruled that out .

I'm starting to rule out the cold start system because from what I've read when the engine is hot it doesn't use the cold start injectors system ,so even with the engine hot it doesn't want to start .... it seems to always take about 3 to five minutes to start ..I'm now thinking ti may be the fuel pressure regulater .. Does anyone know where this is located on the truck ?
It started doing this 2 years ago .

Could anyone tell me what I should look for next ? Or anything I can test ?

Any help would be appreciated !

Thanks yoda
