No power/code 25 (lean air/fuel ratio)
To begin, I have a 1994 22re 4x4 Yota that has had an engine rebuild recently, every sensor, every vacuum line, injectors, everything. I fixed some funky wiring, the fuel pump was hard wired strait to the ignition so I was pumping full power round the clock when I turned the key to On (previous owner did this). I think he did this to trick the computer because he had an after market Cold air intake (silver and red stuff in picture) installed on it and he was getting a code 25 when he put the intake on, cause the MAF was not communicating with the fuel pump and the CPU cause the fuel pump was constantly pumping so it ran rich. It makes sense.
Now I fixed the wiring so it goes thru the CPU (rather than direct power) I took the aftermarket intake off and put the original air-box and intake on and Im still getting a code 25. I still down know what to do. I still have ˟˟˟˟ty acceleration and the timing is advanced past 12 degrees (timing job was done by dealership) and still feels like Im dragging an anchor, but at 4000 RPMs my truck takes off like it should (could this be a bad or wrong fuel pump). My engine is also idling rough and has a popping sound in the exhaust like a miss, but when I fiddle with the MAF internals and the idle screw it cleans up but does not help with the ˟˟˟˟ty acceleration.
Any thoughts on whats up and what to do?
P.S. Toyota dealership couldn't figure it out.

Your cam is out of time. I bet its retarded by a tooth. Pull the valve cover and roll the engine over by hand till you get the blue link on the mark and then the TDC mark should line up (once every two rotations. Also run the valves lash should be .008 on the intake. You did not mention if you camshaft was replaced, it may have been wiped out before you started. Modern oils suck at solid lifter cams. So truth be told, you have to pull the front and top off to check. You did not state where the parts came from or much detail but your build is off, I hope you did not bend a valve.
