Looking for a Compact Tacoma, some questions.

Hey, everyone. New guy to the forum. I have been driving a V8 Tundra since Sept 03 (I bought it new). I don't do much towing anymore, and I moved from the country into town in 07, so I have been thinking of downgrading to a 4 cylinder Tacoma.

This is the style I am looking for:

Problem is, a lot of my searches turn up the larger Tacoma. What exactly is this style/generation called? Also, what is the interchangeability with other Toyota trucks as far as differentials go? I'd like to install an LSD at some point.

That would be a 5 lug (2wd) Tacoma from 95.5-04.

The rear diff is a 7.5". I'm 99% sure the supra 7.5 LSD will fit in that diff. Check customtacos.com or tacomaworld.com for more info on the mini tacos. They've both got a lot better information about them then here.
