left brake light not working
im am thinking of buying a late 80s 4x4 pickup and the left brake light doesnt work is there a common problem thats easy to fix and if not is it easy to rewire the light
|
The commonest problem would be a burned out bulb. If it's not that check and see if the socket is clean. On a truck that old I would expect some corrosion. If there is no power at all at the socket it would be fairly easy to run a new wire from the working light.

if i remember correctly i think the whole left assembly brake turn and all doesnt work what would you suggest if that is the case
|
finds a philip's screwdriver and removing it to check the wiring. also fuses...

i thought it was grease that built up after teh years of driving
but it was just a fried wire, bought a new one and fixed it in less than 30 minutes :] i think i bought them from this guy http://toyotapartszone.com |
