If You Are Running On 35 Inch Toyo MTs...on a 3rd gen truck

I have been searching through photos here and elsewhere online for weeks now in attempt to find any available photos of 2nd-Gen pickups or 4-Runners that are running 35" Toyo Open Country MT tires. I am looking to lift and install 35" Toyo MTs on my 90 pickup and I was just hoping to see how they look on the 2nd-Gen trucks before I install them. I know that these Toyo MTs are very popular tires, so I am really hoping that there are a few members here who have them on their truck and would be so kind to post a photo of their truck. So if any members here can post a photo or 2 of their 35" Toyo 2nd-Gen pickup or 4-Runner, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

I don't have toyos but you should edit your post and say 3rd gens because 89-95.5 is the era of 3rd gens

use your favorite internet search page and type in "toyota pickup 35" and you'll have more pictures than you'll know what to do with.

I have them. Well, 315/75R16 flavor. My avatar pic shows them I think.

BMcEL has 35" Toyos on his 1990 Pickup. He has a 5" bracket lift IIRC

Looking at the photo I thought that they were 35s too as they look quite large. 33" Toyo MT's look much better (and larger) than I thought. Very nice indeed. Cant wait to see a member's rig with 35" Toyos on it.

I have 33x12.5 Toyos on my 93 with only like 2" lift (22.5" from center of axle to bottom of fender). I dont see how 35s will fit without either a bracket lift or firewall tubbing, perhaps with tons of tbar crank but that would be the least desirable setup. If you are going with bracket lift they should fit is my best guess. Like others have said aleady, google and YT image search will get you lots of pics of ifs on. 35s

Found an old picture with bracket lift, ball joint spacers, and 35x12.50R15 SXTs on 15x8 wheels.

Thanks highonpottery. The lift I am getting will be 7 inches total consisting of 4" suspension lift, and 3" body lift so I am believing that 35x13.5 Toyos should fit nice and comfortable with that amount of total height hopefully

In regards to the google images, its funny because I searched the google images (and many other locations searching the terms already suggested) and for some reason some trucks I saw images of look really nice with 35s on them, and some do not look so good with 35s. So I started wondering if some tire brands make their overall diameter smaller than others. So it was for that reason that inspired me to make a thread calling out specifically the 3rd-gen trucks running Toyos 35s on them because there seemed to be so much variance between photos of 3rd-gen trucks with 35s on them. So I started thinki8ng that it must be the brands themselves and so came the reason I was curious to find trucks running only the Toyo 35s on them.

Thanks for the reply and the advice.

BMcEL, in the first photo of your truck here showing it with the 33x13.5 Toyos on it, can you please tell me the rim size that you have on the truck in that photo as well as the backspacing on those rims? Your setup just looks so awesome I am curious. Thanks.

The 33x13.50s are on 15x10 wheels, not sure on the backspacing.

35 x 13.5 M/ts with about 6" lift. I took about 2" of lift off since then with minor cutting on the front fenders and it looks better imo.
