How to tell how high a lift?
I'm looking at a second gen truck tomorrow...the guy says there are 35s on it and pro comp shocks, but he has no idea about the lift as the previous owner did it. I really don't want to buy a truck over a 3" lift. Is there a way to tell? What is factory on 31s from the floor to the top of the wheel well? I'm just a bit skeptical cause the guy seems to want top $$$ for the truck based on its appeareance, and he doesn't seem to know anything about it's history.

well its a good chance its a bracket lift and im pretty sure most are 4" of lift, i could be wrong but thats what most people have with that kinda lift. also if its a nice truck i wouldnt shy away from it cause a 4" lift either. ive driven acouple pickups with that much and they handled very well.
you have any pictures of the truck? |
Could be a body lift, could be a suspension lift. If you had photos of the truck I could help more.
