It is rare that folks actually keep us updated on their problems--thanks!! For letting us know how things turned out.
On another note you Californians--maybe it is time to start becoming more politically active and fighting back against the CRAZY C.A.R.B. . I agree we need smog laws but to much is to much--. My strategy--just tell your political leaders you are not going to vote for them if CARB is not throttled back.....

Thanks bud. Heck i took her for its 1st real test run today. I had to deliver a few pallets of stuff about 50 miles away. Sagged my suspension pretty good but she ran like a champ. Used a quarter of a tank on gauge for about 100 miles. Im sure it used more but all and all it was sweet.

The gauge isnt always correct on these old trucks so when I fill up again ill will try and calculate the milage. Hard to do when my speedo is off by 5 mph at 60+ due to my 31's. I am sure it will be close tho. So far engine is doing well but dang it if I didnt have to replace the clutch master and slave cylinder and the master brake cylinder 2. Gotta love it when replacing all 3 only cost about 100-110 bucks.

Yeah it's really nice when things are cheap.
I've been getting about 20mpg highway and around 13 city. I should be able to get better but I'm not sure what's wrong at this point. I know the gauges aren't too accurate, but on the highway, I'm at a half tank at around 80 miles. Then it hangs out around the half mark usually until 120 miles or so, and depending on the road conditions I'll get anywhere from 180 to 210 miles per tank. But this is with 30x9.50's, so even with those I'm actually going a bit farther than that, although I'm not sure how much.
