E-Brake Problems.
 

alright guys i know this is a very common problem because it has happened to both my dad's '96 taco and my buddy's '92 runner, and now mine. my E brake handle will not go in all the way, they light will stay on all the time and its just annoying the crap outa me. :bang: i think its the spring thats warn out in the handle somewhere? I KNOW this has happened to other people im pretty sure its a common Yota thing. HELP A BROTHER OUT. thanks in advance.

i'll be the 1st one to say it.....but is your brake fluid filled? light will come on if low. sorry if you already knew that, but thought i'd throw that out there.

otherwise I have not messed with the handle, yet....but soon i will be.

nah man you're fine ahah but yeah dude brake fluids fine, its definetly something in the handle do you have the same problem? its so lame!!! i hate it.

i didn't want to state the obvious, but felt i should.

only problem i had on my truck was frozen bell cranks on my 92.

my son's 88 4runner has NOTHING attached to the handle.....i have a junkyard replacement forward cable, just have not messed with it yet.
