Looking to set up a dual battery system. Tried to search it but couldn't find one dumbed down enough for me....

So how does the system work? The alternator charges both somehow? One acts as normal starter/stock accessories operation and the Aux is what you wire the addons to??? Do I have that right? And you use an Isolator somewhere?

If someone can give me a 101 style basic class it would be appreciated..... Thanks.

ah, neat stuff there, i can see a couple parts for the project....

but i need a "leg bone connected to the knee bone...." type general how to...

i get the concept of how it probably goes together and i don't need a list of part numbers and brand names..... just a order-of-opperations and any wickets that aren't obvious... i'm not an electrical genius
