Denver/Boulder - Walk me around my truck?
You guys/gals loves trucks, right? I just bought a 92 22re pickup (198K miles) and want to learn more about it. I have SOME service records and receipts, and want to do a more thorough check of everything. Can't find any records on the timing chain (It's probably been done once before 198K, right?)
Since the time changes this weekend, we'll have all this extra daylight to enjoy. I'd love to have someone in the Boulder/Golden, CO area walk me around my new Toy and show me all the little things to check. Show me what to look for when inspecting ball joints, steering, etc. where to lube drive shaft, suspension, steering stops, etc.
I'll buy you a 6pack of your choice or equivalent.
I am probably above the novice level about car knowledge, but this is my first toyota.

I would be more than happy to take a look at your truck and point out everything that I know to look for. I'm just off of Hwy. 36 and the Hwy. 287 exit. Lemme know what you think.

Check out the "Trip Planning" section. CO TTORA is having a group ride right there near you in Carnage Canyon. Meet up with those folks - you'll learn a lot!
If you don't want to 'wheel, I'm sure there will be an open seat to ride!
(say hi to Molly for me)

99_runner. Thanks for the offer. Email sent. Let me know when.
I basically want to do a roughly 200K tune. Lube and inspect lots of things. Maybe some fluid changes.
I'm probably not going to do that much wheeling. Mostly just using the truck to get up nasty roads to go hiking/climbing/mtn biking, etc.
I only have stock clearance other than 16" rims (265/70s)
