Clutch Issue

Hey there. I need a little diagnostic help. I have a v6 1989 Toyota Pickup with 78,000 miles. My wife was just driving the truck and the clutch pedal fell to the ground. She said it was stuck and she could not put the truck into gear. She was able to pull the pedal off the floor and then start the truck back up and put it into gear. She drove about a mile and then it happened again.

I'm reading that bleeding may help. Or it may be the whole clutch slave cylinder. What do you guys think?

Do the easy stuff first.

inspect the pedal mechanics (bracket, springs, intact not bent ECT)

If it's stuck to the floor and doesn't slip into gear it's a pressure problem.

And if you replace one cylinder, replace them both. Master is a little more of a pain since you need to bench bleed it but they're still both an easy afternoon job.
