check engine, vibrations

hey guys, hope you can help

my check engine light has recently come on. Im driving a 98 4runner limited. ive got about 144000 miles on it.

the car vibrates alot when idleing, and alot also at higher speeds (50-70mph)

why is it doing this? anything will help. thanks!

Do as the light says and check the engine. can be faulty or worn engine and transmission mounts. Any new installations before it began to vibrate?

do as the light says and check your engine. can be faulty or worn engine and transmission mounts. if there were recent installations, like a new muffler or something, check it too. problem can come from any of the three.

Whats the code say? Sounds like a good tune up is in order or possibly just some sensor foiling you engines performance. Get a read on the code and see what it says.

if the car is vibrating with the engine running, not in gear, idling. I would have to say its the motor mounts.
