Can I drop an 88 long block in my 94 and swap in my 94 components?

88 3.0 Long Block into a 94 using 94 Components: potential issues?
I have an 88 3VZE long block for my 94 dlx 4x4 pickup. Can I transfer all my 94 components to the 88 long block? What issue will I run into?
What issues will I run into? I've read that I will need to use the passenger side motor mount and ac bracket from an 88. I plan on leaving the water pump and timing belt tensioner from the 88. Will I run into problems installing my 94 distributor, electrical, sensors, and components?
Got an 88 3VZE long block I want to use for my 94 4x4 Dlx. I plan on using the 88 motor mounts, ac bracket, water pump and timing belt tensioner. Will I be able to transfer over the rest of my 94 components and sensors? Distributor? What modifications will need to prep for?

They didn't have all the bosses for the motor mounts in the same place from 88 to 94. You'll need to swap over everything minus the valve covers, heads, and block. Even the water pumps are different as well as the timing belt tensioners. The harness will be different, the distributers are different. Good luck
