99 4Runner Pwr seats fit in a '98 4runner without pwr seats?
I'm a newbie. I just bought a '98 4Runner and loved the console mod. for the cup holders so I went to the salvage yard today and picked up a '99 console for my husband to modify for me. While we were in that vehicle, we noticed that this '99 limited had very nice leather pwr seats. Our seats are cloth and a little worn out. Will these swap out for the '99 seats?

The seats will physically bolt in. However, you will have to figure out a way to wire in the power portion of the seats, otherwise they wont move.

Yes, I realize I would have to get power to them, is this a problem??? Has anyone done this before?

Is getting power to the seats a problem? Has anyone done that before?

Yes they will fit, the mount brackets on all 4runner seats from 96-02 are exactly the same
