93 Toyota Pickup, ideas from knowledgeable dudes needed!
Hey guys, what's up. My name is Brian, and I came across this site and figured there are a lot of knowledgeable people here, & I'm interested in your opinions!
My 93 toyota pickup, 22Re is having a hard time starting in the morning. Occasionally, it'll crank until the battery dies....but once i finally get it started, it'll start and run throughout the day!
It’s really like hit or miss at this point…If it doesn't hit on the first initial turn over, it has a REALLY HARD time starting...a few weeks ago it took me about an hour to get it going.
It's running on 3 cylinders...#2 cylinder has been dead for years, but it's never caused a problem.
I recently started parking it on an incline so that I can just pop the clutch and roll-start it in the mornings, which never fails.
Any ideas????
Thanks for your time, let me know what you think a good place to start may be...

Agreed.
Just in case you don't find the answer, some ungodly way(and since nobody's deleted your thread, which happens occasionally when people don't search), here's my quick $.02 on where to start next:
Battery/terminals/connections/cables. Inspect/clean/repair/replace them.
Tools needed: Adjustable wrench, wire brush, battery terminal/cable connector cleaner(convenient but not needed), voltmeter, ohmmeter.
