Sounds like it is running too rich, is the air filter new? How old is the O2 sensor?

sry this is my girlfriend fb but yeah um the whole system is brand new but i am not positive about the o2 ......but cat muffler and piping are all brand new from previous owner but if o2 sensor was bad would i not get a check engine light ...sry its my first yota!
and tomorrow i am gonna clean my t/b and maybe swap out the tps sensor i acquired and the air filter is brand new

O2 sensors age for a long time where they read inaccurately before they ultimately fail. When they fail they will set a CEL code, but before that, they may not.
