'90 4Runner - No Rear Wiper Control?
 

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 1990 4Runner, 4cyl manual shift and it doesn't appear to have a control to work the rear wiper and wash. There is a wiper and wash sprayer on the back, but the wiper control stick on the steering column doesn't have a setting to operate them.

The owner's manual has a description for wiper/washer switches "Without Rear Window Wiper." Which is what mine appears to be.

Did they build some of them without rear window wiper controls? It seems crazy that they'd make a truck WITH a rear wiper/washer, but without a way to work them.

Am I right that it was never made to work, or am I missing something? Thanks for any help!

Is the switch in your center console? Next to the rear window switch?
