New ecu and same exact problem. I'm getting a pulse from the ecu but the injector is still not spraying. I read that may be the injector resistor solenoid on passenger side fender could be to blame. Would I still get ground pulse from ecu if that resistor was bad?

Only camera I have is my tablet, too big to fit anywhere for a decent pic. Gonna try and borrow my buddies go pro.

I did find this, my pickup coil air gap is at .021 mm when I read past .005mm is too much. Can't find exact specs for the 87 turbo 4 runner but is that correct. If so I might have just solved the puzzle.

Finally!!!!!!!

Got it running. Must have been the contacts being cleaned and the air gap set, or a combination of all. Truck runs instantly, idles perfect, sounds great.heard a crazy screeching and thought motor was shot.

Found out that all my bolts into the torque converter were gone. Flywheel just spinning making rubbing sounds. Never ran into this prob before. Other than that for sitting up for no telling how long this thing sounds tits, as it should.

Gonna bolt up tc tom and go for a test drive.

Have fun on your test drive today. Remember to make sure the brakes work before going too fast.
