2002 Tundra suspension upgrade, total newbie says hello.

Hi, I found this joint while searching for information to upgrade the suspension on my 2002 Tundra. I live and play in Missoula, MT where there are plenty of places to challenge my off road driving skills.

Now, to get to my first newbie question: The front suspension on my 2002 Tundra is bad, shocks leaking, busings damaged. I drive on what some might call roads a lot for work and for hunting, so I figure it's time to start pimping my ride so to speak. The truck is totally stock V8. I am thinking about putting a Sway A Way 2" coilover set on the front and my problem is this: If I do that, and I want the front to be a little higher, say 1.5" over stock, do I also have to do something to the rear, or will that just level it? Also, where is the best place to buy this stuff on line? If I want to go to 2" over stock, what is the cheapest way to also raise the rear, or do I even need to do that?

the rear won't just compensate for a height difference in the front. I'd say that your best bet would be to decide what you wanna do to the front and add-a-leaf in the rear or do a shackle lift to level it out. Check out http://www.roughcountry.com/ I'm not sure what they have for tundra's but they sell quality junk at good prices.
