2001 Sequoia Rear Window cold weather issue
So i've got a 2001 toyota Sequoia that I bought used during the summer (about five months ago) and it's treated me very well ever since. However, I live in Anchorage Alaska, and it hasn't really gotten above 15 degrees for the past month, so it's sat outside and been very cold.
Anyway, I was sitting in the driveway after driving home talking to my girlfriend, and i bump the rear window control switch. The back window opens, my car gets really cold, and I try to roll it back up, but it won't budge. All i hear is the slight sound of the motor going "urk", and thats it. Pretty new to car maintenance and car forums, any advice? |
The window could have came off track, or the motor disconnected from the guides. Or the motor could not be getting enough power due to a split/cracked/grounding wire, or who knows. I would say take the door skin off and check around for anything obvious.
