I’ve got a ‘92 22re that’s completely stock, the truck has 177k and I had the motor rebuilt by a shop about 2k miles ago. Long story short, this problem does not happen all the time but it has started to miss and run very ruff when started. The code says mass air flow sensor, replaced it but it is still happening. The check engine light will come on and stay on for 20-30 secs as the truck misses and sputters and then it will clear up and run decent.

Took the the truck back to the shop that rebuilt the motor and they had it for a week they said it looked like some mice had gotten in to the wires from the mass air flow sensor, told me they think they had it fixed and I picked it up and it’s still doing it. Plan on taking it back up there but was wanting to see if anyone had any idea. Thanks in advance!
