I was wondering if there was anyway I could get more wheel travel on my ifs so I can do a little rock crawling without doing sas? Please help

i still have my ifs in my 4runner currently and i took out my sway bar links which only gave me another inch of travel not much you can do with ifs for rock crawling

The ifs is pretty stiff. Pull the front sway bar and dont look back. (2nd gen runner have a rear sway bar, that one should be left in place)

For better IFS travel you can install BJ spacers and low profile bumpstops.

Or a blazeland or total chos long kit if you want really use the IFS.

Search for the IFS flex thread. Lots of pic and info in there about people getting the most from their IFS.

Having both wheels spinning is just as important as flex in the rocks. Maybe look into a front limited slip or a locker.

People are quick to hate on the IFS, but for what it is, its a well built system

Blazeland or total chaos long travel kit.
