1987 Toyota 4Runner 22re green electrical plug under intake
1987 Toyota 4Runner 22re non-turbo. I have an green electrical plug under the intake manifold I do not know where it plugs into. (See first picture) it is part of the wire bundle come from ECU. other electrical green plugs are properly plugged in. (See pictures). Vehicle runs, but has fluctuating idle, will not pass emissions idle carbons, and losses power as motor increases to warm up (I believe this a different issue) does anyone know where this plug goes to or is not used? Than

I’m pretty sure the idle air control works off vacuum
My '87 22RE idle air control has 2 air hoses, two coolant hoses and an electrical plug. Vacuum?? Not really. |

Air valve diagram.. Typically safe to assume this era wiring goes to what it reaches, while noting the tell tales of the kinks and bends. |
