Warmonger,

I'm very interested in the 83 ECM. Wondering if it is the correct one for my truck. If you still have it and get a chance could you check and see how many pins the connector has?

it has 21 pins, says 83 22r ecu. I can text you close photos if you pm me your number

Hey does anyone have some of these emissions hoses handy? Rats chewed through mine when it sat in a field for years and they’re necessary for California Smog...

it’s for an ‘82 with 22r: CA smog restrictions. I was able to use single vacuum hoses trimmed to fit but I can’t seem to get them to stay where they should. Figured I might as well ask if anyone who has desmogged has one or two of them laying around for a permanent fix.

it sort of looks like:

Four hoses on top of one another all connected as one piece.

both of those are getting harder to find in decent condition. I just sold a radio for a ridiculous amount of money on ebay and I've seen the wood grain inserts on there for around $200.
check out yodajims.com. he runs a Toyota wrecking yard in Denver that usually has first gen stuff.

Thanks I'll check that out! I know it's getting pricey, that's part of the thrill of the hunt I was lucky enough to get probably the last brand new dash set, out of the box out of some dealership in Texas.

I got a new woodgrain bezel, i think it was from Lakeland Toyota, under $100.
