1994 Pickup 4WD Manual 22re Frame

Interested in getting a new frame for my pickup. I want a donor that’s in good shape! It can have surface rust but no rot anywhere. I don’t want to have to cut out parts and weld in good steel.

It doesn’t have to be from a ‘94, any frame that will fit my truck can be used. I’ve got big plans for it and need a frame in good shape.

I have a rolling frame with 4.10 gearing. You didn't mention which style of cab you need, mine came from an extended cab, so it's the longer frame. It has surface rust, but no major rot. I'd defo suggest knocking down the rust and coating it though.

Also have a bare 2wd frame that's still mainly black with min surface rust, but it would need to be converted to 4x4 for your needs. It was a reg cab truck.

I don't see anything that states your location, so no clue if you're near or 3k miles away. I'm in Michigan.

Yes, apologies for the lack of information. I just updated my profile. I’m in southern CT and I have a short bed...I think. Small cab and the bed isn’t extra long. Not sure what that’s called. Standard?

Thanks but I’m not looking to convert a 2wd frame to a 4wd. Nor looking for a rolling frame. Appreciate the reply though!

I see, probably a bit too far unless you wanted to make a vacation trip out of it lol. I don't think long boxes came as 4x4, atleast all the ones I've had were 2wd xtra cab + long box but they were all 88 and older. Anyway, short box from memory is about 77in long vs long box being around 87in, again that's the 84-88 body style, but pretty sure 89-95 are the same length for the box, probably very similar for the standard/reg cab too. The extended/xtra cab defo are different sized cabs though. In other words I'd think 84-88 standard cab/box probably would work for you too, but cab & box mounts might be off a little.

Anyway, good luck on the frame search

Yeah, not sure I want to do a road trip for the frame, haha. Hoping to find one local-ish. Thanks for the info, much appreciated!
