Merry Christmas Everyone.

In the market for a 2013-2015 Tacoma. Would appreciate any thoughts on what I should look for or things I should avoid. Any known issues I should be especially vigilant about when I inspect, etc.

I just bought a 13 Tacoma this past Friday for all the reasons we all buy Toyota. My only prerequisite was the 2.7 motor and even though I have only driven it about 100 miles so far I am very pleased. Plenty of power for my needs and hoping to get decent gas mileage. Coming from a 2nd gen 4Runner, the 3.0 was gutless and mileage was not very good at all, averaging at best 15 MPG. Sorry I can't offer any more and maybe I will learn something from your thread.

I found a lightly used 2015 Access cab V6 4.0L 4x4 TRD Pro Tacoma that I am considering. It looks very nice, but not sure I am willing to shell out the $$ needed for a late model TRD Pro. Anybody out there with a similar model willing to share their experience?

Even though I am very content with my truck and it getting 21 MPG, I still always look at others for sale. Sure, more cab space would be nice but not a necessity for me. The extra cab space comes at a premium price and with TRD, out the roof. Mine was very reasonably priced and barring the experience I had with my last 4Runner, I should have this truck for quite some time. Best of luck with whatever you end up with.
