Picture of xreas?
I'm planning my lift but am away from my truck at the moment can someone post a picture of xreas so I can remember if I have it. Thanks. I may have made a mistake when I ordered lift parts.

Look at your shocks...If you have fluid lines coming into the top of the shock you have XREAS, otherwise you have normal shocks with no fluid line and equalizer pump!
|
I just learned what xreas was in an article about lifting a runner...
Is it jsut me or does anyone think that this system is stupid since it cant be serviced..? :dj: |
what do you mean it cant be serviced? you mean repaired?
we have it on the 07 and i have no complaints, though the truck wont be getting lifted anytime soon. |
Quote from 4WD and Sport Utility Mag. They have had this thing around for a while..
anyway

so what your sayin is... i better hope it goes out before 100k miles! and then when it goes out again lift it... a pain in the ass no doubt, but she handles really nice on the street!

Or just crack open a line..let all the fluid out..
then go in...Whadafxup..?! :con: EDIT: Do it near the stealership, I head it was a crazy ride with empty shocks.. :dj: |
lol im kinda interested in what it will feel like now
|
Tell you the truth I am too...
When you need some help emptying the system, let me know :hillbill: :dj: |
haha, deal

Dang I did see that line coming out of the shock. Does anyone know if I can remove the xreas and put on some new shocks with a spacer lift or did I waste my money and should have went a differnt route like springs?
|
Sure can..
http://www.4wdandsportutility.com/te...on_bumper.html Scroll down to "round 2" I might suggest picking up this issue of the mag as it is very informative as how they "replaced" their shock and spring setup... Also there is plenty of info on it on the interweb... :dj: |
