key fob program
 

i just bought a new key fob from the dealer for $105.00 , they want an extra 50.00 to program it , anyone know how its done ?

Should have bought a key fob off of eBay. It cost me around $30 for my 04 4Runner V8. Dealership was going to charge me about $40 to program it. They did it for free when I got my oil changed from them! It works perfect.

Its pretty simple. Just get in, leave the drivers door open, insert and remove key twice, close and open door twice, insert and remove key once, close and open door twice, then close door, insert key and turn to on position and then back off, at this point the door locks will cycle twice indicating that the vehicle is in programming mode, then hold lock and unlock for a couple seconds and then just press and hold the unlock button for a couple seconds and the door locks will cycle once more and your done.
