How to change the light in the running board

How to change the light in the running board
This seems like it should be easy, but I need some directions. I need to change a light in my 2003 4runner running board. Is there an easy way to get to the lightbulb that is already in there? I could not find an easy way to get to the old lightbulb in the endcap. I am hoping that I don't have to unbolt the running board to do this. Thanks
