Factory alarm
 

A buddy of mine bought a 2005 Tacoma. He has the key fob with lock, unlock, and panic button. As of now, the panic button works and the doors lock and unlock but it does not appear that the alarm is active. Is there an on/off feature to the factory alarm? Does anyone know where the alarm is located? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Answer to your old post....There is no alarm on his vehicle, simply remote power locks and a panic button.

The alarm which would activate with the doors being locked is an option, the key fob would look the same.
