ARB 4Runner wheel and tire size confirmation

I am looking for a little confirmation:

Wheels 17"

Tires 265/70 R17 BFG AT's

Does that look right, or for those who happened to see the truck and remember?

Thanks so much!

Oh, and one more. All Gen 4 4Runners are 6x5.5 lug pattern correct?

Thanks

Factory Specification
wheels: 17x7.5
tires: 265/65/17
bolt pattern: 6x5.5

The SEMA vehicle might have 265/70/17's though. I didn't go so I don't know.

Picking it up? What are you doing with it. Pardon me if this was discussed in another thread.

I am conducting a long term test with the truck for ARB and Toyota. There will be a series of articles in Off-Road and 4WD Toyota Owner where I chronical several adventures with the ARB 4x4Runner. Trips include Idaho, Utah, Arizona and California.

You can find out more details here: www.expeditionportal.com/forum (note: you would need to register, just because the planned trips are not visible by a guest)

It's to deflect trees. You see it a lot in Australia (for the brush I suppose) and places where they offroad around a lot of branches that could shatter their windshields.

Yep, they are called limb risers, and are intended to lift branches and limbs up and over the rack and windshield.

Let me know if you guys have any questions about the truck. I will be driving it back from Renton starting Friday.

I will ask when the bumper will be available and report back. I will have a list of all accessories, part numbers and availability.

That size difference won't be a "OMG, those are huge" difference...

.787" wider overall and 1.1" overall diameter bigger.

Exactly what I was thinking. So sick of waiting on this product. ARB is starting to piss me off. Waiting waiting...

The real problem that ARB faces is that Toyota does not market the 4runner (this exact 4runner and not the bro/sis versions) to Australia. Because of this, r&d becomes very expensive. Try shipping a 4runner over there and back so they can r&d. The shipping alone is $$. I would think that they would have to sell MANY bumpers just to break even let alone not include the r&d into it.

Other models are available in Australia thus the release of those bumpers but the 4runner is not out there. The prado is but not the 4runner so you can sort of blame Toyota for that one.

I would say if you're really a die hard ARB fan, you can just get the prado bumper and cut and paste like crazy

Thanks for all of the help everyone. I am going to be pulling an Adventure Trailer behind the 4Runner, and we are setting it up with matching wheels and tires. Should be a great adventure combo
