A750F new tranny problem
New to this fourm, not to Yotas. Just did a 4x4 conversion on my 2005 Prerunner. Involved adding a front diff, cv, add harness, new driveshafts, tranny, tcase ect ect.
Having a problem with the new tranny I put in. Got it from a wrecker and having some problems. Main issue, not getting anything from the output shaft. Had the truck on jacks, in park everything locks up and in drive, 2h or 4h everything can be moved manualy. I am also getting a slight grind/compressing noise when the truck is running and moving from reverse to park. Think this would be the parking gear lever grinding on the gear a bit. Used the origional torque converter, know it works. Did a flush, have fluid pressure. Filled the tranny and temp checked so fluid level is good.
Any ideas? I could try replacing the valve body from my old 750e tranny, think its worth it? I know with auto trannys it could be anything, probably a bad seal not allowing pressure or something. Any idvice is apriciated. Going to be a lot of work to get the tranny back out, take it to a shop and pay upwards of $1500 to have it rebuilt.
