6th Generation Toyota Truck / Lexus LS430 Swap
Hello guys!
I've just signed up, having recently become contracted to a Toyota dealership, I've strayed a bit, from my usual brands - Audi.
I've bagged myself a 2003 Toyota Truck, an N60 (5th gen). It's a single cab 4x4 5 speed manual. I've also pulled the trigger on a 2002 Lexus LS430, purchased for its beefy 3UZ-FE motor.
Now I intend to install this in my truck, which currently has a 2.5 turbo diesel motor (2RZ-FE). I'm definitely a V8 dude, all my cars are V8-powered, or in the middle of V8 swaps, with the exception of my 2008 BMW 120D M-Sport.
I'm also liberating the Lexus of its dash, cruise, climate control and front seats. I'll be using pretty much the entire wiring harness too.
Now, the 3UZ-FE in the Lexus LS430 is only available with an auto tranny (at least in the UK). Any pointers for a flywheel solution and bellhousing? I've Googled and come up with bellhousings in Australia, just the flywheel issues I'm not too sure of.
Thanks in advance, I'll start a dedicated thread once the first cut is made.

The swap sounds like a good idea..but correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't the 2rz-fe the 2.4 petrol engine, and not the 2.5 turbo diesel? If so, I reaaaally hope you haven't been pumping diesel.

I might have gotten the engine code wrong...but it's definitely a diesel. I replaced the turbo and pump before I acquired it.

3uz only came with auto trans here in the USA as well (I work for lexus).
Most of the 1uz bellhousings/5 speed swap kits/setups should work for the 3uz.
Should be a cool swap. Wish it was reasonable to get that engine from you because Id love a turbo diesel in my 86.
