2008 GX470 Wet Floor on driver's sides (Sunroof Drain)
I have a 2008 GX470 that gets a wet driver's side floor (under the mat) after it rains.
I am 99% sure it is a clogged sunroof drain issue on the driver's side.
I tested the drains work on basic level when I pour water down them from the sunroof. The water empties near the front door jambs. I suspect it is partially clogged and can't keep up with heavy rains.
I attempted to clean the door jambs as much as I could without dismantling the car. I got a ton of dirt and leaves out of it, but it is hard to reach. I am sure there is more to clean out and make sure there are no obstructions.
I have read many posts of other people having this issue, but I don't see details about how to access the drain to clean it well. Do I need to remove the door? Or is there any other tricks to clean the door jamb?
Can someone please post pictures showing where the end of the drain is? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
