Sounds like you need a valve job...

Are you still under warranty ?

Nope. 75k. Theres no ticking under a cold start. Could it still be the lifters? The tick gets faster before 2k. The tick goes away after 2k. The tick only comes when the engines been driven around. Its louder after a long drive.

I would say you need a valve job then personally...

Thats about the max of my knowledge on it..

sounds exactly like a cummins diesel lol.

i would say valves. If i wouldnt have heard the video i woulda probably said cracked manifold, but i thought the took care of it with the new 2.7's.

the ticking gets real quiet when its been sitting idling for awhile. its only loud when i come back from a drive. well I am gonna do an oil change and see what happens.

Run Seafoam through it. When you start seeing smoke coming out from the heatshield, you'll know you've got a cracked manifold. That's how I found mine. :)
