2004 4Runner 4WD won't engage
First my "check engine" and "VSC Trac" and "VSC OFF" lights are on. I haven't bothered to check out the problem since the vehicle didn't seem to be effected. I did a quick search when it first came up 6 months or so ago...
So, today, Nashville is covered with snow and I can't engage 4WD. Frankly, I've owned this 4Runner for 3 years and never used it. When I tried to engage it today (according to the manual...accelerating, turn dial to 4HI), nothing happens. The indicator blinks, but nothing ever happens...

You know what they say.....
Don't use, you'll loose it!
actuators are stuck from lack of use. It's recommended that you engage the 4WD 1-2 times a month. I'm not sure if you'll be able to go into 4HI with all those lights on.
