it'll be slow to get moving, but it'll pull it. recommend a class III or V hitch to the frame and not a ball on the bumper and an external transmission fluid cooler if you're going to going more than a few miles with that kind of load. also, 2500 lbs requires functional brakes on the trailer. that means either hydraulic/surge type brakes on the trailer or electric brakes and brake controller in the truck.
