Will an '84-'85 front brake cable fit an '88 truck?
Hi all,
I recently bought a 1988 4wd Toyota pickup that needs (among many other things) a front parking brake cable. I can't find one that says it fits, but the length (~70") & ends (1 pin, 1 loop) of the 1984-1985 4wd version look right. Anyone know if the older style cable will fit?

This site http://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/show...rimLevel=18292
says "no." But check it out yourself. Note that the part number is different depending on the model (probably the length).

I'm a little confused how you reached that conclusion, as that site only covers 1st gen pickups.
However, the cable for RN61 4Runners (same as my RN61 pickup?) says it fits "250 variants between 1984 and 1988".
Looks like I'll just have to buy the part & see if it fits...
