Why cant I find headers? (3VZE)
Hey guys, I am in the process of doing my head gaskets on my truck, while I am here I would like to do headers. Problem I am having is for some reason I can't locate them anywhere. I have searched and and it just comes up with info on them now where to buy them.
I found them for $600.99 on summit racing but it doesn't say if that includes a cross over pipe(Doug Thorley) and when I call they say they have no such thing. When I visit the Doug Thorley site they say $800.00?? The NWOR site is by far the worst site I have ever been on in my life, tons and tons of info and no price and from what I read here a real cocky useless and way over priced customer service so I'd rather not go that route. I know Downy is out of business, does anyone know the actual price and where to find these?
Help... getting frustrated hahaha

call summit racing. I run the DT headers, they come with everything you need ( the headers, head bolts, gaskets, cross over, and y pipe ) i recommend not using their head bolts and staying with the stock ones though

Just ordered mine off ebay (mostly because I had a 10% coupon that expired last night) otherwise I probably would have ordered from Summit.

Have you looked at LC Engineering? I got one of the first sets from them. I also got the high flow cat and exhaust. It's a little on the loud side now bit I loke it that way. The link in my sig has pictures of unboxing the header kit as well as the exhaust. Also some mock up pics on the engine stand.

does anyone have an old crossover pipe they want to sell? I am going to try cutting off flange of one and make it come strait back so its not backfeeding into the driverside one, basically making it a duel exsaust, I think it will be a noticable power gain by doing this

because they're just cheaply made bolts with washers and lock washers... I used them and i've had so many issues of them backing out. trust me, use the stock studs with the head bolts... they're a much stronger design, and it'll save you about 2-3 hours each side since you wont have to pull the studs.
