Where can i get rear window parts?
ok, so the part of the rear window mechanism that the glass actaully mounts to in my 87' runner rusted out completely...where can I buy the parts to fix this thing? Right now I'm driving around with the window down and i'm sick of sucking exhaust fumes. Thanks for the help

Honestly, I know it's not the best advice, but I'd just try and find a used tailgate. They can be had for a reasonable price. Check Craigslist.
FYI, the part you need is called the window track, might make your search a little easier.

why, oh why would you replace the entire tailgate if just the window regulator is bad?
You can find one used for $25-$75. They are super easy to replace, AND you dont have to worry about finding one that is the right color, or needs painting like a whole gate would.
The tailgates can be MINT and the tracks/regulators will rust out anyways, its just the nature of the poor design.

In case you want a new one, but a salvage yard is your best bet.
