I do have a rear one as well that I will be releasing soon that will also be built in-house. I am working on frame brackets and mounting so it can be bolt-on, but its in the works. And, it will be much stouter than the tube style ones available. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...5/IMGP1966.jpg |

I'd buy one next week. :welder: |

Although I don't like stingers much I think that looks pretty good. have you thought about maybe some sort of screen or something for the bottom half of the radiator?

I second that. After seeing that picture I wanna do some research myself on the Trail-Gear rear bumper. Looks nice and stout yet not bulky and annoying

Don't forget Warn and ARB! You need lots of $$$ though, as they're each between $800-$900

After really looking at how it needs to be mounted, I can only do them to be weld on if you want it to be strong. The frame mounts look like these: http://www.toyotaholics.com/support/...7_DSCN0108.JPG They slide into the frame rails and need to be welded into place. The main 2x3" square is 3/16" wall and the hitch is also 3/16" wall. I know that the bumper in the pic towed a 5500lb trailer from Colorado to Ohio when Josh moved there a few months ago. Here is another version of the same bumper on my old 1st gen: http://www.toyotaholics.com/support/...7_DSCN0143.JPG And yes, its strong enough to house a tire carrier: http://www.toyotaholics.com/support/...190210_029.JPG FWIW, I am just spread too damn thin trying to get all of the products I want into full production. Its a good problem to have, but my "production" line suffers in the long run. |
so how much are your front bumpers?
