Wheel fitment, I've searched

It's late, really late, and my eyes hurt from searching.

I've got the opportunity to get some 16" 2004 Tacoma alloys this weekend, and I wondered if anyone has checked fitment on a 2nd generation 4Runner. The bolt pattern is the same, but is the center hole going to fit over manual hubs?

Will they fit??

should fit fine but they got some weird backspacing

Those are actually '05 Tacoma wheels...I am thinking you may run into an issue in the front and it may require a spacer due to the severe backspacing to clear your caliper.

I tried the wheels off my '05 taco on my '81, no problem in the rear but would have needed about a 3" spacer to get them to work in the front. Best way to to test fit...

IIRC It will fit on your 86+ rig. 84 and 85 will have backspacing clearance issues.

I seem to recall seeing a photo somewhere here on YotaTech of a 2nd Gen 'Runner with these rims, but I couldn't find it last night. I'll just have to take my truck to pick up the wheels, and test fit one on the front.

And the answer is... Not when you've got BJ spacers installed. The tire rubs on the upper control arm. Its a shame, they looked nice. Oh well, on the the next.
