Story? Here's the short version:

"It didn't look THAT deep..." I know, I know, you've all heard this before. 4 four-wheel drive Toyotas and my own which was still halfway underwater, to recover. One whole month of repairing. And now it runs better than ever.

Here's a couple more pics, and no, they're not Photoshopped.

Your next mod should be a winch.

...or a boat! But seriously, a winch would have helped the most in this situation. None of the trucks pulling me out had winches either.

Heck, pontoons would have helped out better. If somehow you fried the electrical system the winch wouldn't have helped much.

wish i had a pic of mine not posing....but all i've done to it has taken my offroading time away. But to keep the thread going...here goes:

since this I've swapped the weeny 33s back for 35s on new narrower wheels, put in longfields, a marlin rear bumper, and recarpeted the interior and installed some SR5 buckets.

Now, if I had a truck I'd have a 1st gen, but this would definitely do it for me otherwise. My vote! (no offense, ydopen. I'm a sucker for the SA.)

That's basically my vision for my pickup. What kind of bumper is that?(please don't say it's a texas special) And why does it looks like its tilted to the left?
