what this wire
 

ok so putting stuff bacek together i found, this yellow wire that ends near the shift lever under the plastic. it was'nt connected to anything. i traced it back to a pack of wires near the computer. is this for a power anttena?

think i should just tape it up and leave it

Thats what I would do. or if its not connected to anything, find out where it ends at both ends, and remove the wire all together.

Looks like it's suckered off of the courtesy lite switch. Maybe for an aftermarket alarm?

it did have a alarm i forgot about that
