1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys I need some help, i found a soft top for sale but the guy didnt know who makes it, he said he thought it was kayline but i did some searching and the windows didnt look the same. If someone out there can identify it/ voice their opinion so I know whether or not to buy it that would be wonderful, thanks!
*EDIT** I kept searching and now im thinking its a "suntop" any one have any experience? |
oooo boy i dont know its a tough angle, i cant tell but the back almost looks like a can back but i think thats just the camera angle. Ive never heard of sun top although they sound familiar.

Looks homebrew.

he did say that it uses the original (glass) rear window, so thats what leads me to believe it is a sun top
i did the research and suntop was a family buisness out of GA and was only making them from 1987-1990. I also read somewhere that they only sold 400-500 of them. |

hmm never seen a soft top that used the rear glass....how does that work wince there isnt really a window track to follow? or am i missing something?
|
Killer Toy Tops used the rear glass didn't they? They had that "fastback" drop off too. They were a one man operation in Canada but are out of business. It's hard to tell from such a small picture. I was also thinking "Suntop" but I could not remember their name 'til you added the edit.
You can do a search for "soft top" on this site. When it comes up there's an "image" button that should show lots of pics. |
That is definitely a suntop.

I would be interested in a Hatch back style if some one still made those...

Were Back!!!
check out the web site...www.killertoytops.com not sure if that's our design from that pic., but ive never seen one of ours for sale.
