what MPG are you geting in a stock 22RE\auto\4wd

I'm looking to buy a 1st\2nd gen runner or 2nd\3rd gen pick up with this setup.What MPGs are gettin and hows the power.

i wouldnt get an auto 22re, the autos suck for on-road driving. crawling, theyre supposedly very good.

I'm getting about 530km to a tank with my 22re auto. Someone put that into MPGs.

Well I kind of have to.My mom needs a new vehicle and it has to hold 5 dogs and 2 people in it.She wants MPGs while having 4wd but she cant drive manual anymore because she has a bad back from a old car wreck.If winter wasn't coming, and we didnt live on a mountain it would be alot more easy.

prob around 230miles or so... thats just guesstimating

I think its closer to 21-22 mpg for me

yeah, its pretty good. right now i have a little under half tank, and ive gone almost 200 miles. (city). i guess keeping RPM down to no higher than 2500 really pays off....

That it does.If I talk her into this she will probably pass it down to me after winter.By then I'll be driving and have some cash stored up and I'll start doin work to it.Wish me luck lol.

I get about 20mpg. 4WD 22re 5spd. 31" tires. But I have all new timing components and a new motor. And I get passed a lot.

I could always find a blown 22re and yank it out and put a 3rzfe in it before winter.LOL!

Mine made 18.5 after its rebuild. The second tank made 16.5, but that was because I was hot rodding it to test acceleration and some tweaks to the EFI.

I'm heavy on the throttle and I tipically get between 15 and 18 mpg...



on a motor approaching 300k...



btw, isn't there a sticky with this info in it?
