This is what a buick V6 sounds like in a toyota..

Pretty bored and a buddy asked me to send him a sound clip of my BUICKV6 3800. Its got cam, dual headers into twin highflowcats, into a single dynomax muffler with dual exits. I dont know WHY the guy did two into one into two...I'll be changing that soon when i decide what mufflers to go with. Heres a sound clip though.

Not bad. I like the raspiness of it.

How loud is it really?

Wanna hear a clip of my V6? I bet you'd like it. It sure is loud. No muffler, one-way(formerly 3-way, left one in there)cat, no headers(yet).

Does the buick v6 3800 engine bolt up to the transmission and 4x4 of a 3vze rig?

Yeah, but my mods were cheaper.

It's not as rumbly as it was before the cat went to peices(literally). But, it's louder and way more raspy. Which is good enough so long as it's givin' me the performance I desire(and not atracting too many po-po).

My engine itself is pretty loud. It has a sticky lifter that you'll hear in the beginning. When and IF this motor goes, i'll be shopping for a Buick Grand national motor Will bolt right in, but its turbo.

^^ Mine isnt a TURBO motor yet...YET. Its just the V6 3800. Stil makes a GREAT amount of power. Im sure the race pistons, cam,MSD ignition, bigger carb and exhaust help it though ;-) One day it will have a BigTurbo grand National in it.

I dont even know man..I fill it when its empty. I used to drive a Wrangler on 34 inch LTBs, and now this. Its on 36s....Im not to concerned with gas mileage lol. I dirve the truck because I love it...gas is just "another expense" on driving a monster of a truck.

Ive been into turbo cars since I was 13 when i helped build a big turbo VW Beetle. I have an 02 Jetta 1.8T. EIP stage 2 chip/turbo,front mount intercooler and the whole 9. Pushing out about 375 HP. I plan on getting a grand national motor and rebuilding the entire thing. That way, when this motor goes, i'll have a "brand new" Grand national motor waiting to go in....Not to mention it will bolt right up to everything I have now, including wires. yea, a Yota with 350 HP on 38s sounds good to me ;-)

GN was the first FAST turbo v6 car... they made turbo 4's before it (mustang SVO) and olds made some turbo cars in the 60's....
