Welding a receiver to an Addicted Offroad frame reinforcement Kit

Has anyone done this? Addicted sells a frame reinforcement kit for their bumpers in case you plan on mounting and using a winch with their bumpers. I want to weld it on and then weld a hitch receiver to the center of it. This way I can run a winch and the stock bumper. I will also be able to take it off and on whenever I please (with a winch hitch mount kit).

Has this been done? Anyone have pictures if it has been done?

Thanks.

Might wanna fab something with a bit re-enforcement for loads. That re-enforcement that addicted sales is intended to prevent bolts from pulling through factory crossmember.

Red face

Comes down to the skill of the Fabricator!!

Then just what do you plan to drag around .

Is this going in the front or rear??

I most often use my winch on the rear .

The trick with the front is keeping it as tight to the front of the truck as possible
